Trust Officer with Tax and Employee Benefit Specialty, Full-Time
DeKalb, IL - Bethany Road Office

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:  To develop new client relationships with prospective trust clients, and to enhance existing relationships with current trust clients, through the use of profiling, which will provide solutions to the clients’ total financial needs.  To insure the accepting and processing of client account trades, processing deposits and withdrawals and performing accounting and tax reporting responsibilities for clients in accordance with bank regulations in a timely and accurate manner.  To develop and maintain procedures for tax planning and preparation for trust clients. To develop and maintain procedures for employee benefits and retirement plan trust clients.  To develop and maintain procedures for charitable trust accounts for clients.  To develop, install, and administer employee benefit trust accounts including profit sharing, pension, 401k and ESOP plans; to complete IRS and DOL documentation, handle amendments, and all required services and correspondence to plan participants.  To care for the assets for the benefit of the beneficiaries.  To ensure service excellence to all trust clients by providing timely, accurate financial information, and expertise, helping to resolve problems, and maintaining positive client relations.     

REQUIREMENTS:  A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.  A minimum of two years previous bank accounting and/or regulatory reporting experience along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) is preferred. A strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.  A strong commitment to customer service, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and professional appearance and manner.

 

Trust and Investment Administrative Assistant, Full-Time
DeKalb, IL - Bethany Road Office

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:  To serve as the department’s initial contact by greeting and assisting clients in person and on the phone.  To provide investment clerical responsibilities and trust operations support. To actively promote the sale of products and services to current and potential clients.

REQUIREMENTS:  Strong commitment to customer service; attention to detail; some study beyond high school required, two to three years of qualifying financial services work experience required; PC experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and professional appearance and manner.

 

Credit Analyst – Internship – Summer 2024
DeKalb, IL – Bethany Road Office

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:  To collect, review, and analyze client financial statements.  To analyze and underwrite loan applications for various risks including: quality, economic and business trends, and market risks.  To prepare and perform report analysis of spreadsheets analyzing cash flow, financial statements, and collateral.  To prepare a variety of financial forecasts reflecting client data, as well as, industry trends, competition, and economic climate.  This position also actively promotes the sale of all bank products and services to current and potential clients.

REQUIREMENTS:  Preferred degree (anticipated graduation date between December 2024 – May 2025) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant business curriculum.  Agricultural or Commercial financial analysis background preferred.  Familiarity with spreadsheet applications required, financial software experience helpful.   Strong commitment to customer service; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and professional appearance and manner.

 

Teller, Part-Time & Full-Time - Various Branches

Description of Teller Position: To serve as the bank's primary contact with customers by processing transactions, managing a fund of cash, performing various customer service activities, and provide miscellaneous clerical support as needed. To actively promote the sale of all services. Requirements include a strong commitment to customer service, math aptitude, excellent verbal communication skills, and a professional appearance and manner.
