Trust Officer with Tax and Employment Benefit Specialty, Full-Time
DeKalb, IL - Bethany Road Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new client relationships with prospective trust clients, and to enhance existing relationships with current trust clients, through the use of profiling, which will provide solutions to the clients’ total financial needs.
  • Insure the accepting and processing of client account trades, processing deposits and withdrawals and performing accounting and tax reporting responsibilities for clients in accordance with bank regulations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for tax planning and preparation for trust clients.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for employee benefits and retirement plan trust clients.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for charitable trust accounts for clients.
  • Develop, install, and administer employee benefit trust accounts including profit sharing, pension, 401k and ESOP plans.
  • Complete IRS and DOL documentation, handle amendments, and all required services and correspondence to plan participants.
  • Care for the assets for the benefit of the beneficiaries.
  • Ensure service excellence to all trust clients by providing timely, accurate financial information and expertise, helping to resolve problems, and maintaining positive client relations.     

REQUIREMENTS:  A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.  A minimum of two years previous bank accounting and/or regulatory reporting experience along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) is preferred. A strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.  A strong commitment to customer service, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and professional appearance and manner.

 

Client Advisor, Full-Time
DeKalb, IL - Bethany Road Office

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:  To develop new banking relationships with prospective bank clients, and to enhance existing relationships with current bank clients through providing solutions to clients’ total financial needs.  Provides counseling in traditional bank products and service areas and maintains consumer lending responsibilities. 

REQUIREMENTS:  Strong commitment to customer service; attention to detail; some study beyond high school preferred, three to five years of qualifying bank work experience required; previous lending experience preferred; PC experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and professional appearance and manner.

 

Client Service Representative - Commercial, Full-Time
DeKalb County Southern Branches

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:  To provide administrative support to the Commercial/Ag Advisors with a strong emphasis on the credit function which includes correspondence, loan preparation, loan documentation, monitoring, related forms thereof, and other special projects as assigned.  To serve as the loan client initial contact by greeting and assisting loan clients in person and on the phone.

REQUIREMENTS:  Strong commitment to customer service; attention to detail; Associates degree or equivalent preferred; two to three years of qualifying bank work experience required; PC experience; good verbal and written communication skills; and professional appearance and manner.

 

Junior Network Administrator, Full-Time
DeKalb, IL - Bethany Road Office

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:  Responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and repair of the Bank’s network infrastructure. This position will work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of network services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and resolve network issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with senior network administrator to troubleshoot and address connectivity issues.
  • Provide technical support to the bank staff related to network connectivity.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of network devices for new employees.
  • Address and resolve user-reported network problems in a timely manner.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining network security protocols.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the organization's network is protected against potential threats.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations and changes.
  • Create and update network diagrams and documentation for reference.
  • Assist in the implementation of new network technologies and upgrades.
  • Actively promote the sale of all bank products and services to current and potential clients.

REQUIREMENTS:   Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.  Qualified work experience in Network Administration may substitute for Bachelor’s degree.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional appearance and manner, and 2-3 years qualifying work experience.  

 

PC Helpdesk Technician, Full-Time
DeKalb, IL - Bethany Road Office

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:  Responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of PC workstations. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide PC Helpdesk services by tracking staff requests on a database and assisting staff members by answering questions relating to technology and telecommunications.
  • Ensure the network allows only current staff as users.
  • Coordinate the disaster recovery plan for the IS department.
  • Track PC purchasing requests and invoices.
  • Track PC workstation inventory.
  • Set up AV equipment for various meetings.
  • Apply PC patches/hot fixes.
  • Assist in the training of staff members in the use of the bank’s computer system and applications.
  • Actively promote the sale of all bank products and services to current and potential clients.

REQUIREMENTS:  Associates degree in computer technology or related field preferred.  Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field a plus.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional appearance and manner, and 1-2 years qualifying work experience.  

 

Teller, Part-Time & Full-Time - Various Branches

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: To serve as the bank's primary contact with customers by processing transactions, managing a fund of cash, performing various customer service activities, and provide miscellaneous clerical support as needed. To actively promote the sale of all services. Requirements include a strong commitment to customer service, math aptitude, excellent verbal communication skills, and a professional appearance and manner.
