Oklahoma and Texas: The Pioneer Woman Mercantile & Magnolia Market

Activity Level 6 - Join The Classics as you travel southwest!  On this journey, you will board a covered wagon for a city tour of Independence, MO * followed by a drive to The Pioneer Woman Mercantile - a destination restaurant, bakery and store in Pawhuska, Oklahoma! Activity Level 1- Ladies! We are back with our most popular event! We have prepared a special evening of pampering, relaxation, and laughter just for you! Our evening will include a fashion show - showcasing Shop In Style, UOI, Kohl’s, and J.Jill. There will be some of our regular vendors and some new vendors to check out with plenty of shopping!! Activity Level 1- Up for a fun afternoon playing Bunco? Whether you are an avid player or just a beginner wanting to learn, come join us as we play this fun game of chance by rolling the dice to earn points and get the highest score. When you win or lose the round, this will determine which “Direction” you will go for the next round! Prizes will be awarded to our best (and worst) players! Doors open at 11:30 a.m., with lunch served at Noon. Payment is due upon registration. RSVP by May 29th. Members and Guests: $10.00.

The Great River Road Experience

June 10 - 11, 2020

Activity Level 5- Experience the rolling waters of the Mighty Mississippi River, coupled with magnificent limestone bluff. Enjoy a scenic drive on the Meeting of the Great Rivers National Scenic Byway, recognized in national magazines as one of the most scenic drives in the Midwest. You will tour and have lunch at a brewery and distillery (with some tasting!), and will also tour a fuel refinery. Visit a corn-to-ethanol research center with some other fascinating stops along the way. We may even have a surprise or two! AARP Safe Driver Course at HearthStone Center

July 8 & 9, 2020

Activity Level 1- We offer this two-day course annually. Attendance is required both days to receive a certificate of completion. The certificate you will receive is honored by some insurance companies for a discount on your premium. This two-day event will run from 12:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. Please provide a copy of your AARP membership card with your registration. Payment is due upon registration. RSVP by July 1st. AARP Member: $20.00 • Non-Member: $25.00.

Spotlight on New York City

Activity Level 6 - JUST ANNOUNCED!!

Jet away to New York City where we will “start spreading the news!” With shopping, sight-seeing, and endless entertainment, you will enjoy a single-hotel stay in the heart of the city (Times Square)! Explore the 9/11 Memorial and the 9/11 Museum, walk around NYC like a native New Yorker, and experience two Broadway Shows! Enjoy breakfast at the famous Ellen’s Stardust Diner, board a ferry for a cruise of New York Harbor, and take in the incredible views of the towering Statue of Liberty. Plus take a self-guided tour of the Ellis Island museum. You may also choose to take an extra excursion: a walking tour of Greenwich Village. There will time for exploring on your own, and who knows what you may find! Trip Confirmation Notice

Classics sends out a confirmation reminder notice of payment due date, pickup time and location along with any other information regarding each trip at least two weeks prior to departure date for all trips.

Trip Cancellation Policy for Day Trips

When scheduling day trips, most vendors require full payment when booking the event. We request that full payment for a day trip be made 2 weeks in advance. If you have to cancel a trip and we can fill your space from a waiting list, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel the trip after your payment is made, we will reimburse you when possible.

Trip Cancellation Policy for Extended Trips

Cancellation policies on extended trips are outlined by respective tour companies as stated in their trip brochure. Trip Travel Insurance is always a wise investment when going on extended trips.

Activity Levels

The higher the Activity Level number, the more walking involved. All activities are in the HearthStone Center unless otherwise stated.

Activity Level 1: Very little walking, no stairs.
Activity Level 2: A little walking, possible stairs.
Activity Level 3: Walking, getting on and off the coach, and possible stairs.
Activity Level 4: Walking, getting on and off the coach several times and stairs on the trip.
Activity Level 5: Walking distances which might be on non-flat surfaces, getting on and off the coach multiple times, and stairs.
Activity Level 6: All of the above, including multiple flights of stairs and activities requiring a higher level of stamina.
