Activity Level 1 - Following the tremendous interest we received last year, we’re excited to announce that we’ve scheduled this event once again!  This time, we will have two locations for your convenience.  Join us for a delightful session with Christy Sharp, who will demonstrate her meticulously prepared pie dough and guide you through the process.  This is an ideal opportunity to inquire about anything and everything related to pie-making.  To enhance the experience, we’ll provide a selection of light appetizers and beverages for your enjoyment.  Come, indulge in the art of pie-making and satisfy your curiosity about crafting the perfect pie dough!  Doors open for both locations at 1:30 P.M., and the demonstrations will begin at 2:00 P.M.  Please RSVP by February 1st, 2024.  Members and Guests: $20.00

Ladies Night Out!

Activity Level 1 - Ladies, we’re thrilled to announce the return of our highly anticipated and much-enjoyed event! Get ready for an exclusive evening of indulgence, relaxation, and joyful moments crafted just for you. Join us for an unforgettable experience featuring a fabulous fashion show, and discover both familiar and new vendors, offering an abundance of shopping delights.  We will enjoy live music with our favorite two-man band Driftaway, drinks and appetizers.  Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening!  Payment is due upon registration.  RSVP by March 20th.  Members and Guests: $25.00

Take a Step Back in Time, Evanston

Activity Level 2 - Explore the richness of art and history in Evanston by visiting esteemed landmarks and museums like The Halim Time & Glass Museum, Charles Gates Dawes House, and Frances Willard Home.  The Halim Time and Glass Museum boasts a private collection of hundreds of historic mechanical timepieces and clocks, along with nearly 100 exquisite stained glass windows, offering a mesmerizing journey through time and craftsmanship.  The Charles Gates Dawes House and Frances Wilard Home are two 19th Century historic house museums that have to be seen to be believed.  The price covers transportation, admission, a delightful lunch, and all gratuities. Activity Level 6 - Join us on a journey to beautiful Winterset, IA!  Upon our arrival, our guide will join us for an engaging two-hour covered bridge tour.  Following our exploration of the charming covered bridges, we’ll continue our adventure with a visit to the John Wayne Birth Place and Museum. In the evening, a delightful farm-to-table dinner awaits us at Henry Wallace Farm. Classics Travel Policies

Trip Confirmation Notice

Classics sends out a confirmation reminder notice of payment due date, pickup time and location along with any other information regarding each trip at least two weeks prior to departure date for all trips.

Trip Cancellation Policy for Day Trips

When scheduling day trips, most vendors require full payment when booking the event. We request that full payment for a day trip be made 2 weeks in advance. If you have to cancel a trip and we can fill your space from a waiting list, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel the trip after your payment is made, we will reimburse you when possible.

Trip Cancellation Policy for Extended Trips

Cancellation policies on extended trips are outlined by respective tour companies as stated in their trip brochure. Trip Travel Insurance is always a wise investment when going on extended trips.

Activity Levels

The higher the Activity Level number, the more walking involved. All activities are in the HearthStone Center unless otherwise stated.

Activity Level 1: Very little walking, no stairs.
Activity Level 2: A little walking, possible stairs.
Activity Level 3: Walking, getting on and off the coach, and possible stairs.
Activity Level 4: Walking, getting on and off the coach several times and stairs on the trip.
Activity Level 5: Walking distances which might be on non-flat surfaces, getting on and off the coach multiple times, and stairs.
Activity Level 6: All of the above, including multiple flights of stairs and activities requiring a higher level of stamina.
