Ladies Night Out

April 13, 2019 at HearthStone Center

Activity Level 1 - Ladies!  Do you need a night out with your friends, sisters, mother, daughters, or female coworkers?  Then we have what you are looking for!  We have prepared a special evening of pampering, relaxation, and laughter, just for you!  Our evening will include facials, massages, a fashion show, door prizes, shopping, drinks, appetizers, and did we mention shopping??!!  Doors open at 4:30 p.m. The event runs 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., with the fashion show starting at 6:00 p.m.  RSVP by April 8th. Payment is due upon registration.  Members and Guests: $15.00

Presentations for Australia/New Zealand

Activity Level 1 - Join us as we tell you all about the spectacular trip we will be taking to Australia and New Zealand in January 2020! Hear about taking a catamaran tour of the Great Barrier Reef, visiting the Sydney Opera House, learning about exotic and historic places and so much more! Washington D.C. - Embassy Week!

May 2-7, 2019

Activity Level 6 - We had so much fun on our last trip to Washington, D.C., and there is more we want you to see, so we are going back! This time we will be flying to Washington D.C. to experience Embassy Week! We have arranged a very special evening for our guests to enjoy a dinner in a Foreign Embassy as well as tour many of the embassies! You’ll also tour Arlington National Cemetery and Monticello, home of our third President and author of the Declaration of Independence. Enjoy a performance at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, enjoy a tasty brunch aboard the Odyssey Cruise Ship while floating down the Potomac River; visit the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court Building, Washington National Cathedral, and so very much more!!

The trip will include round trip transportation, airfare, porterage and transfers; five nights lodging, breakfast daily, one brunch, and five dinners, and all admissions and tours as described in the detailed itinerary. BUNCO at HearthStone Center

Activity Level 1 - Up for a fun afternoon playing Bunco? Whether you are an avid player or just a beginner wanting to learn, come join us as we play this fun game of chance by rolling the dice to earn points and get the highest score. Whether you win or lose the round will determine which “Direction” you will go for the next round! Doors open at 11:30 a.m., lunch served at Noon. RSVP and payment by May 13th. Game Day at the Somonauk Branch

June 26, 2019

Activity Level 1 - Have a fun-filled afternoon of fellowship and game-playing at the Somonauk Branch! We will have a guest speaker from the Somonauk Fire Protection District talk to us about their File of Life program and answer any home safety questions you may have. Afterward, you can enjoy the afternoon playing a variety of games! We will provide some games, and please feel free to bring games of your choice to play too! Doors open at 11:30 a.m., lunch will be served at Noon. RSVP and payment by June 21st. Members and Guests: $10.00

AARP Safe Driver Course at HearthStone Center

July 10 & 11, 2019

Activity Level 1 - For your convenience, we offer this two-day course annually. Attendance is required both days to receive a certificate of completion. The certificate you will receive is honored by some insurance companies for a discount on your premium. This two-day event will run from Noon to 4:30 P.M. Please provide a copy of your AARP membership card with your registration. RSVP and payment by June 25th. AARP Member: $15.00 • Non-Member: $20.00

Activity Level 6 - Experience the trip of a lifetime as we travel to Cairns, the Great Barrier Reef, Sydney, Sydney Opera House, Christchurch, Queenstown, Arrowtown, Milford Sound, and Merina Sheep farm! Trip Confirmation Notice

Classics sends out a confirmation reminder notice of payment due date, pickup time and location along with any other information regarding each trip at least two weeks prior to departure date for all trips.

Trip Cancellation Policy for Day Trips

When scheduling day trips, most vendors require full payment when booking the event. We request that full payment for a day trip be made 2 weeks in advance. If you have to cancel a trip and we can fill your space from a waiting list, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel the trip after your payment is made, we will reimburse you when possible.

Trip Cancellation Policy for Extended Trips

Cancellation policies on extended trips are outlined by respective tour companies as stated in their trip brochure. Trip Travel Insurance is always a wise investment when going on extended trips.

Activity Levels

The higher the Activity Level number, the more walking involved. All activities are in the Bethany Road Community Center unless otherwise stated.

Activity Level 1: Very little walking, no stairs.
Activity Level 2: A little walking, possible stairs.
Activity Level 3: Walking, getting on and off the coach, and possible stairs.
Activity Level 4: Walking, getting on and off the coach several times and stairs on the trip.
Activity Level 5: Walking distances which might be on non-flat surfaces, getting on and off the coach multiple times, and stairs.
Activity Level 6: All of the above, including multiple flights of stairs and activities requiring a higher level of stamina.
